Those of you how arrives in thursday will have the chance to live St. George’s Day.
St.George’s Day, Diada de Sant Jordi in catalan is a holiday celebrated on April 23 similar to St. Valentine’s Day with some unique twists that show the ancient practice of this day. Historically, on this day men gave women roses, and women gave men a book to celebrate the occasion. Roses have been associated with this day since medieval times, but the giving of books is a more recent tradition. You’ll see a lot of stands of roses and makeshift bookstalls hastily set up for the occasion.
Catalonia has exported this tradition of the book and the rose to the rest of the world. In 1995, the UNESCO adopted April 23 as World Book and Copyright Day.

After looking for some nice hotels in Lleida situated on a good zone we decided to recomend the Hotel Real. Can you imagine a better place for a mafia torture session than a real abattoir? Believe me, I can’t. For this reason, we have been looking for one of them as location for the saturday and finally we found it.

Thanks to Indelesa and his manager Jose Luis, we will be able to take pictures with our actors into the building. But, remember to wear some warm clothes because inside the building the temperature is really low… and it helps to be in a terrifying mood hahahahahahhahahahahahh!!!!!!!!!!!

For the second day of shootings, we planned an entire work day dedicated to La Mafia. But it will be a funny, weird and bizarre mafia! They will have the biggest guns, the baddest guys, the nastiest girls and the more sauced spaggetti plates you ever seen!

For this theme, we have the big collaboration of one of the most funny theatre companies from the country, La Baldufa. They’re helping us as mafia experts in the art direction and providing lots of atrezzo, actors, costumes and other insane stuff. Also, we will place most of the indoor mafia world scenes in their 600m2 studio. You know, nothing is comparable to the theater’s magic.
